so i went to the yuppie networking thing and it wasn't so bad. it turns out that katie bell knows everybody in york. so she's my connection to anything and everythig that i want. on the other side of the coin though, kathy said that since erik is leaving, versient doesn't want to hire anyone new. so she offered a job in both a/p and a/r. yeah right!!!! i just get so scared just thinking about the work load, let alone doing it. the raise that she offered doesn't do anything for me. i'd still rather stick a pen in my neck.

so today, she said that billing will hold off until we get an LOI and find out if it's even necessary to move stuff down for billing yet. i mean, who knows, if we get bought by another company, everything will be moot anyway. we'll just have to see.

tonight is the party for jeff and erik. which is fine, i'll buy erik a drink. but i have to leave shortly after!!! someone kick me out of there when it gets around 6.00 pm. i told joe that we'd go out for sushi. i'll just tell everyone that my mom is coming by my apartment and that i have to clean it up a little. but 6.00 is the deadline. must be out by then. ok?
